Twickenham Stadium
London
Jacob Miles provides private chauffeur transfers to and from Twickenham Stadium, the home of England rugby in south-west London. Our chauffeurs are experienced with match-day traffic in Twickenham and will plan your route to avoid the worst of the congestion around the stadium, collecting you from your home, hotel or office and delivering you close to the ground.
Arriving at Twickenham Stadium
Twickenham Stadium sits on Whitton Road in Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, close to the A316 and the River Thames. On international match days and major concert days the surrounding roads become extremely busy and parking is severely restricted, so a chauffeur-driven arrival is a practical alternative to self-driving or the train. The final collection point will depend on the venue's event-day traffic and access arrangements and will be confirmed with the passenger before travel.
Match-Day Traffic and Timing
International rugby fixtures and stadium concerts draw crowds of more than 80,000 to Twickenham, and the A316, London Road and Chertsey Road can be very slow before kick-off and after the final whistle. We recommend booking your outward journey to arrive well before the start and agreeing your return collection time in advance. For evening events we can hold a chauffeur on standby or arrange a fixed-time return pickup.
Nearby Areas and Hotels
Twickenham is close to Richmond, Kingston and Teddington, and a short drive from central London. Central London hotels we serve that work well for visitors attending Twickenham include The Dorchester on Park Lane, convenient for travelling to and from the stadium. We can collect you from your hotel and return you there after the event.
Airport and Station Connections
Heathrow is the closest major airport to Twickenham, a practical option for visitors flying in for a fixture, while Gatwick serves routes from the south. Waterloo is the main London station for South Western Railway services to Twickenham. We can combine an airport or station transfer with your onward journey to the stadium, with flight and arrival-time monitoring built into the booking.
Recommended Vehicles
Rugby supporters often travel in groups with picnics, flags and kit, so capacity matters at Twickenham. The Mercedes E-Class or S-Class is a refined choice for individuals and couples, while the Mercedes V-Class carries larger groups in comfort with space for bags and picnics.
