How Hourly Chauffeur Hire Works in London
A practical guide to hourly chauffeur hire in London, including how it works, when to choose it, how to book and vehicle recommendations.
What Is Hourly Chauffeur Hire?
Hourly chauffeur hire, also known as as-directed hire, gives you a dedicated vehicle and driver for a set period of time. Unlike a point-to-point transfer, you are not tied to a single destination — your chauffeur takes you wherever you need to go, for as long as you need.
When to Choose Hourly Hire
Hourly hire is ideal for business meetings across multiple locations, shopping days, sightseeing, evening events or any journey where you need flexibility. Your chauffeur waits at each stop or returns at an agreed time, and multi-stop itineraries are welcome.
How to Book Hourly Hire
Booking hourly hire is straightforward. Tell us the date, start time, approximate duration, collection location and any planned stops. We will confirm your vehicle and chauffeur, and your chauffeur will plan the routes based on live traffic conditions.
Which Vehicle to Choose
The Mercedes S-Class is the most popular choice for hourly hire, offering comfort and discretion for business and leisure. For groups, the Mercedes V-Class provides space for up to seven passengers. For special occasions, the Bentley Mulsanne or Rolls-Royce Ghost are popular choices.
